Overview
The Hermès Chicago Boutique opened in 1990 and focuses on providing extraordinary service to clients as a part of the Northern Region. This Sales Specialist position reports to the Assistant Manager and works collaboratively with the sales and support teams to enhance the client experience in a fast‑paced luxury environment.
Responsibilities- Accountable for meeting monthly and annual individual sales goals and contributing to the boutique’s collective targets.
- Organize and prioritize the selling floor to support sales effort and customer experience. Maintain the floor according to visual merchandising guidelines, including EAS tagging, ticketing, and replenishment.
- Assist with inventory preparation and support after‑sales service as needed.
- Process and verify all transactions, ensuring accuracy of receipts, CRM data, and payment details.
- Communicate discrepancies to management during opening, closing, and daily POS variances.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation at all times.
- Comply with all asset protection procedures, including sign‑in sheets, bag checks, key control, merchandising security, and participation in physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Consistently deliver high‑level client service, greeting clients promptly, offering assistance, and wrapping/packaging items at POS.
- At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a luxury environment.
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Even‑tempered, capable of multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced setting.
- Self‑starter who works independently while collaborating with a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and open availability to meet business needs.
- Ability to lift 0–25 lbs. without assistance.
