Job Overview

This entry‑level General Merchandise Clerk will deliver remarkable customer service, provide product knowledge, and support retail tasks such as pricing, inventory, and merchandising. The role requires collaboration with team members and managers across multiple departments.

• Build rapport with customers.
• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Assist customers with questions and redirect them to other team members when necessary.
• Stock product and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.
• Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
• Work in various departments:
  Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral.

• Detail‑oriented and organized.
• Strong listening and communication skills, face‑to‑face and virtually.
• Willingness to learn or familiarity with job‑specific technology.
• Problem‑solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot.
• Process‑driven and able to follow procedures efficiently.
• Ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Desire to work consistently with customers.

Step pay plan starting at $15.00 - $16.50 per hour, with raises after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or exceed the legal wage requirement for the location.
