• Provides member service by recognizing the member, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services.
• Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise appropriately, and securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.
• Maintains the sales floor in the Optical area, handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Receives and stocks merchandise in the Optical area, organizes and maintains the area according to company procedures using equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing paperwork logs and required documentation.
• Operates hardware such as cash registers and related equipment, processes member purchases, assists in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
• Sells optical products and services by assisting members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses, completing eyewear and contact lens orders, verifying prescription information, maintaining paperwork, collecting payments for doctor services, and performing and recording results of optometric pre‑tests.

Hourly wage range: $19.50 to $27.50 per hour (actual rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location). Additional compensation may include premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
