Part‑time position with a variable schedule, typically 7–14 hours per week.
Job OverviewAs a Field Merchandiser you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service.
Salary and Schedule Details- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.00 – $17.00 per hour depending on your skills and experience.

- Availability the week before and after major holidays (including weekends) is required.
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The position consists of three major components:
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. You will communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer required surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential.
- Holiday support: Hallmark’s operations revolve around seasonal demand. You may be required to work additional days and extended hours leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You may also work on the actual holiday or weekend for certain holidays.
- Department resets: You may be part of a team responsible for installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Advance notice of at least two weeks will be given. Tasks may include evenings or weekends.
- Team collaboration: You are part of Hallmark’s field organization and may support other team members as needed within your territories.
This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also be required to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your shift and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
BasicQualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Capability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Proficiency in operating a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and the Internet.
- Reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores as scheduled.
