The Area Sales Manager drives growth in SIMCO’s calibration and service portfolio by renewing existing customer agreements on time, implementing annual price increases, and expanding market share through new business acquisitions. This role requires consistent territory coverage, disciplined pipeline development, and skilled application of value-based selling. Success in this position comes from understanding customer motivations, differentiating SIMCO beyond price, and achieving strong, steady performance across all key measures.

- On-time renewal of service agreements
- Implementation of annual price increases
- Win a consistent monthly pace of new bookings
- Growth in revenue net outside service costs
- Develop and execute a territory plan to grow revenue and market share
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting within CRM (Salesforce)
- Conduct customer discovery to identify business drivers and decision criteria
- Differentiate SIMCO’s value proposition to win competitive opportunities
- Drive deal progression and manage complex opportunities through a structured sales process
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive customer satisfaction and retention
- Review and inspect pipeline regularly to ensure deal quality and momentum
- Accurately forecast a sufficient volume of new bookings to consistently achieve quota targets
- Track key metrics such as win rate, deal cycle time, and renewal completion
- Proven sales success with track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Strong territory management and prospecting skills
- Demonstrated ability to sell value over price
- Proficient in Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms
- Resourceful sales professional with expertise in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
