Base pay range$55,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Title - Inside Sales Representative - Logistics Services - Hybrid - Must be located in the Greater Chicago Area.
Package - $55,000-$70,000 base salary + Uncapped commission
Responsibilities
- Selling a logistics and supply chain brokerage service including Air, Road & Ocean freight to a range of product manufacturing & distributing markets.
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers and shippers to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
- Identify and reach out to potential product manufacturing & distributing customers through cold calling, emails, and other sales tactics.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers to understand their logistics needs.
- Meet and exceed sales quotas by closing new business and expanding existing accounts.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth booking, tracking, and delivery of shipments.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress in CRM software.
Requirements
- Ideally have prior sales or customer service experience with basic knowledge of the Logistics and Supply Chain industry.
- Ideally has a preexisting network within logistics and freight forwarding.
- Must be competitive, entrepreneurial individual, who is results driven.
- Extremely motivated to make many Cold Calls and send lots of Cold Emails.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
