Key Account Manager – Chicago, ILWhat You’ll Do
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts through personal visits and follow‑up on a regular basis, focusing on account retention and growth.
  • Secure account penetration and loyalty by adding overall value to customer accounts, improving current programs, and introducing new innovations and reporting.
  • Drive engagement with customers at all levels to ensure needs are met, and apprise customers of mutual performance, new products, programs and market trends through periodic and formal business reviews.
  • Develop and qualify leads within the geographic territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold‑calling, partner‑selling, lead‑generation campaigns, and social‑selling techniques.
  • Present and create multi‑product solution opportunities through presentations, training, and demonstrations.
  • Provide customer training and support as needed across the customer’s entire enterprise.
  • Accurately complete administrative duties, including budgeting, forecasting and expense tracking.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Proven negotiation, relationship management, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking, financial acumen, conflict resolution and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel, including occasional overnight stays, with a valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
