As a Sales Development Representative, you'll play a crucial role in connecting Door Dash with local restaurant owners, helping them expand their customer base and streamline operations. You'll be the driving force behind securing qualified meetings for our Outside Sales team, ensuring that every interaction is a stepping stone to a successful partnership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit a high volume of restaurant prospects weekly, introducing Door Dash and securing meetings.
  • Identify key decision makers and build trust through concise, impactful conversations.
  • Deliver compelling pitches on how Door Dash can help restaurants grow and thrive.
  • Log all interactions and outcomes in Salesforce and other sales tools with precision.
  • Collaborate with Outside Account Executives to align on strategies and follow-up plans.
  • Manage and optimize daily routes for maximum impact.
  • Engage with merchants post-visit to confirm meetings and maintain interest.
  • Exceed weekly and monthly targets for meetings and revenue impact.
  • Provide valuable feedback to enhance Door Dash s offerings and strategies.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in outbound sales, canvassing, or similar customer-facing roles.
  • Strong communication skills, both in person and in writing.
  • Valid driver s license and reliable transportation for frequent travel within the territory.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry light materials during visits.
Preferences
  • Experience in sales, hospitality, retail, or the service industry.
  • Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce or similar CRMs.
  • Background in the restaurant, food and beverage, or local business sectors.
