Inside Sales, Sales Development Rep/SDR, Sales Representative
Compensation: $55,000 base salary + performance bonuses
OTE: $85,000
THE OPPORTUNITYPrimo Designs is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to help serve our existing customers, respond to inbound leads, and close transactional sales opportunities.
This role is based in Springfield, IL with a hybrid work structure. Candidates should be located within reasonable commuting distance for training, meetings, and in-person team needs.
This is not a traditional cold-calling role. You will work with established customers, inbound requests, and qualified opportunities from companies looking for branded apparel, screen printing, embroidery, and promotional products.
We need someone who is responsive, organized, accurate, and comfortable moving fast while still getting the details right.
WHAT YOU’LL DO Serve Existing CustomersRespond quickly and accurately to inbound orders and requests from our established client base. These are valued repeat customers, and your job is to make every interaction easy, fast, and right the first time.
Work the Inbound PipelineRespond quickly to inbound leads, qualify opportunities, and close transactional business. Larger or more complex opportunities will be escalated to senior Account Executives.
Sell ConsultativelyDevelop strong knowledge of our product lines, including screen print, embroidery, branded apparel, and promotional products, so you can guide customers toward the right solution at the right price.
Stay Organized and AccountableMaintain a clean, up-to-date pipeline in Hub Spot. Responsiveness, follow-through, and clean notes are core parts of how success is measured in this role.
Support the TeamDuring peak periods, you may support the broader team with client communication and order management. At a growing company, everyone contributes to the win.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Sales or Customer-Facing Experience1+ year of inside sales, retail sales, customer service, or customer-facing sales experience. Comfort communicating with customers by phone and email is essential.
You treat speed as a competitive advantage. Inbound leads and customer requests should receive same-day attention.
AccuracyMistakes in pricing, order specs, or customer details cost time and money. You double-check your work and take ownership when something is off.
OrganizationYou can manage follow-ups, notes, customer details, and open opportunities without letting things fall through the cracks.
Experience with Hub Spot or a comparable CRM is preferred. You should be able to keep your pipeline clean and up to date.
Coachable and CompetitiveYou take feedback well, want to improve, and care about your numbers.
