Technical Sales Manager

Our client, a world-class global manufacturer of precision-engineered components, is seeking a Regional Technical Sales Account Manager to drive growth across the Chicago territory. This role requires strong technical aptitude and a consultative approach to solving customer applications.

You'll own the regional sales strategy, develop new OEM business, expand key accounts, and strengthen market presence across the territory. Working directly with customers and channel partners, you'll collaborate with engineering, operations, and other internal teams to deliver solutions that drive revenue and margin growth.

Role Overview:

• Execute territory strategy for growth and market expansion
• Prospect and develop new customers while cultivating trusted relationships with existing customers, distributors, and channel partners to identify new business opportunities
• Collaborate closely with internal teams across engineering, operations, and product management to align market needs with technical solutions
• Own sales forecasting, pipeline, and CRM reporting

Ideal Background:

• Degree or equivalent professional experience
• Proven success in industrial or OEM sales with strong technical fluency
• Experience managing a territory for growth and customer retention
• Experience providing engineered solutions and consultative sales approach
