Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.38 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon and Sun, 12:30 AM – 08:30 AM

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and/or perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas while verifying credentials, directing foot traffic, and supporting established post orders and security-related procedures.
• Complete routine reports, incident logs, and/or shift communications, and assist with requests from site personnel in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location expectations.

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
