Restoration Technician: Water & Fire Mitigation

Full time hourly position in Springfield, IL.

Salary range: $18.00 to $19.50 per hour.

Restoration Technician responsible for specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, vandalism clean-up, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move‑outs and content cleaning. The role requires driving a company vehicle to customer locations, executing work to meet federal, state, local regulations and company standards, and providing excellent customer service.

• Drive company vehicle to assigned locations.
• Execute all work to meet or exceed applicable regulations and company/customer quality standards.
• Become proficient in fire and water restoration and mold abatement.
• Respond to water jobs and initiate mitigation per IICRC and Service Master standards.

• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel out of town.
• Physical ability to move and lift 50+ lbs.
• Pass drug and background check.
• Previous restoration experience a plus; willingness to be trained.
