As an HVAC Chiller Technician with Carrier, you will uniquely impact our customers, becoming the face of confidence we stand by while ensuring their comfort. Your knowledge of Commercial HVAC will be critical in working on a variety of installations, repairs, and maintenance projects. - Participate in startup and commissioning of new units.
- Apply expertise to support a state‑of‑the‑art facility.
- Perform diagnostic tests, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions, and execute regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units.
- Review and interpret regulatory requirements and technical documents, including blueprints and diagrams.
- Cultivate strong customer relationships and ensure timely escalation of issues for resolution when necessary.
- Prioritize safety by adhering to licensing requirements, operating equipment safely, recognizing HVAC‑related hazards, completing safety training, and implementing effective safety measures.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry.
- 3+ years of experience working with centrifugal chillers.
- EPA Universal certification.
- Ability to push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs, climb a ladder and work on rooftops.
- Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods.
- Valid and current driver’s license; insurable by Company’s insurance carrier.
- OSHA 30 certification (valued, but not required).
- Basic understanding of building automation controls (BOMAC).
- Experience with data centers and steam turbines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Service Max.

Pay RangeThe hourly rate for this position is between $38.00 – $76.00 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
