Summary of Objective: Perform advanced facility related preventative electrical maintenance and repairs as a Facility Reliability Electrician (FRE), maintain the Pharmaceutical facilities at a “World Class” level. Apply deductive reasoning and interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions. There are no direct supervisory responsibilities associated with this role.
Responsibilities- Possess an advanced mechanical aptitude to safely diagnose and troubleshoot facility related industrial electrical systems at the direction of a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor or Facilities Engineering Manager.
- Monitor and diagnose deficiencies of 460/3/60, 240/3/60, 208‑230/3/60, and 120/1/60 electrical systems and perform thermo‑imaging and current monitoring equipment to prevent overheating of switch gear and panels.
- Safely service and install electrical branch feeds to production equipment of the various voltages.
- Properly select fuses to protect facility wiring and establish proper disconnecting means.
- Bend and install conduit, utilize pull boxes, pull wires, and terminate power wiring to provide a safe and effective circuit.
- Support all PCI departments with special and routine electrical requests.
- Construct control panels and wire them per a provided wiring schematic.
- Support the various lighting systems within the PCI facilities.
- Support the FRT team in their electrical needs.
- Work overtime and/or weekend work as required.
- Adhere to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, and rules.
- Maintain attendance as an essential function of this position.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
- Required: High School Diploma and/or 3–5 years related experience and/or training.

Skills:
ability to perform basic computer tasks and operate common computer programs. - Minimum Professional Proficiency: ability to speak effectively, read standard written materials, and interpret various instructions.
- High Reasoning: ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
- Electrical Building Trades related Associate’s Degree, Apprenticeship, or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of industrial electrical experience.
- NFPA 70E Training.
- Lock‑out / Tag‑out training.
- Ability to effectively present information to various audiences.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly.
- Excellent time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Willingness to make decisions and adapt to changing work environments.
- Attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of hand and power tools and safe use.
- Advanced understanding of facility electrical maintenance, including:
- Predictive facilities electrical maintenance programs.
- Scheduled electrical work order programs.
- Compliance with cGMP guidelines.
- Advanced understanding of electrical utilities.
- Advanced understanding of MEP, fire protection systems, and electrical generation systems.
- Preferred: Ability to effectively present information to various people, identify and resolve problems timely, display excellent time management, work independently or in a team, display willingness to make decisions, adapt to changing environments, demonstrate attention to detail, and possess advanced knowledge of hand and power tools.
Hiring range: $30.27 – $34.06 per hour plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
