Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical as well as assist the Maintenance Supervisor. The role is based at Boulevard Townhomes in Springfield, IL.

• Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, commodes, sinks, basic carpentry and any general maintenance repairs that may arise.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.
• Complete work orders and forms to ensure all documentation regarding operations of maintenance equipment is completed properly.
• Demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service.

• HVAC certification and at least 3 years of Maintenance Technician experience.
• Ability to move heavy equipment safely and use proper equipment.
• Availability for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Normal work hours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Mon–Fri (may vary slightly based on season) with occasional overtime required.
• Background screening and drug test required.
