About the Role

Field‑based – on-site at customer locations. Primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined market with a diverse commercial base including Healthcare, Process Manufacturing Facilities, Education Institutions, and Office Complexes.

Primary responsibilities include commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems in commercial environments. Utilize air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts for maintenance and new system installations.

What You Will Do
  • Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand installation and repair requirements.
  • Serve as the direct customer contact, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at the customer’s location.
  • Use cutting‑edge software and technology, respecting blueprints or engineering specifications.
  • Maintain flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as required.
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company assets.
What You Will Bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required) or higher education.
  • Typically 5+ years of HVAC experience (or technical school/formal training).
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers (Smartphone, iPad).
  • Valid driver’s license with less than 3 years of major violations.
  • EPA certification.
Compensation
  • Hourly Base Pay Range: $25.70 – $47.35

  • Compensation varies by seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
