Field Service Technician

We are looking for a Field Technician, Field Engineer, or Service Technician with a strong mechanical aptitude and tech‑savviness who can provide best‑in‑class service to our largest retail customers. Your role will involve communicating effectively, diagnosing and resolving issues, and ensuring optimal performance of electromechanical equipment.

• $18 to $20 per hour, based on location and experience
• Overtime available at time and a half
• 7 paid holidays and 6 paid floating holidays

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment, including self‑checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
• Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls.

• Local candidate to a specific geographic area.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets NCR fleet requirements.
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day.
• Rotating and weekend shifts.
• Flexible shift work – rotating shifts within set teams, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times, with some holidays.
• Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lb. without assistance and up to 150 lb. with assistance.
• Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive manual handling of objects of varying sizes.

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
• A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification.
• One or more years of related experience.
