Field Service Technician

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively

• Service electromechanical equipment such as self-checkout systems within an assigned territory

• Perform maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance work, and system overhauls

• Communicate with customers as a first-line response and identify appropriate solutions

• Organize and triage customer issues

• Handle problems proactively before they occur

• Travel extensively and drive several hours per day

• Work rotating, weekend, holiday, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts

• Carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with assistance

• Perform bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, hand work, and repetitive grasping and manipulation

• Local candidate to specific geographic area
• Authorized to work in the US
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and driving record satisfying NCR fleet requirements
• PC skills
• Basic electronic skills
• Familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software preferred
• A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification preferred
• One or more years of related experience preferred
• Must pass applicable employment screening criteria

Demonstrates expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical equipment, with strong problem-solving skills to address customer issues effectively. Proficient in handling physical demands of the role while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
