Standard Aero is seeking a motivated, eager, and innovative student to join our Facilities Maintenance Team.

We are looking for a total of 1 intern for approx 20-24 hours a week.

• Partner with existing facilities project maintenance teams to support company wide facilities and maintenance in Springfield.
• You will work with experienced maintenance team on project types that involve environmental cost savings, electrical systems, plumbing, lighting controls, compressed air systems, and building HVAC.

• Find opportunities and create/complete maintenance projects.
• Ensure site wide compliance of federal, state, and local environmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in creating and updating internal environmental policies.
• Other projects as assigned.

• Currently enrolled in a formal HVAC trade/training program.
• Working knowledge of PCs and MS Office Suite.
• Minimum of 1 year of building maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of tools, methods, and practice of maintaining equipment, buildings, and facilities.
• Knowledge with hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be US Citizen due to government contracts.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of local and national fire, building, plumbing, and electrical codes.
• Preference given to LLCC/Springfield area trade/HVAC program students.

Starting salary of $19.21hr

Actual pay will be determined based on the selected candidate's skills, experience, and internal equity considerations.

This internship provides a hands-on learning environment in a professional MRO setting, with opportunities to cross-train in airframe, supply, inspections, and engines.
