As an Interior Installer (Weekend Shift) at Standard Aero, you will be responsible for the removal and installation of aircraft interior parts under the guidance of a Certified A&P Mechanic, Team Lead, or Crew Chief. Your role involves not only the hands-on work of installing and removing parts from corporate aircrafts, but also the meticulous documentation of each task to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company quality standards.

Your technical aptitude and sound judgment are crucial for successful aircraft completions and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do
  • Remove and install/re-install aircraft interior parts such as cabinets, seating, A/V equipment, upholstery, and liners, both before and after aircraft mechanics service the airframe.
  • Properly document each part and task in compliance with FAA regulations and company quality standards.
  • Use sound judgment and technical skills to make decisions regarding aircraft completions removal and installation.
  • Perform basic stripping operations of fabric from aircraft surfaces to prepare for remodeling and recovering.
  • Follow, promote, and continuously improve company policies and procedures to provide our customers with the highest quality service.
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have proven technical aptitude.
  • Professional experience utilizing a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, schematics, blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, walk, bend, stretch, and climb ladders.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United Sates.
Preferred Characteristics
  • Familiarity with aviation or aerospace
Salary:
Starting at $24.01 with weekend shift differential

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Standard Aero considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market condition s.
