- Under immediate supervision, complete structured classroom and on‑job training in tax operations for 6–12 months.
- Perform assignment tasks in various tax examinations, ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to laws, rules, policies, and procedures.
- Apply training to communicate effectively with taxpayers, government officials, and internal counterparts.
- Receive basic technical training in specialized operations to assist leaders and supervisors.
- Perform any other duties as reasonably required.
- Four years of college completion or equivalent work experience in tax support functions at IDOR.
- Fluent Spanish and English—speaking, reading, and writing at a colloquial level.
- Must successfully complete a tax compliance and fingerprint‑based background check.
- Position involves medium work: lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time.
- Requires travel, including overnight stays where appropriate.
- Must use and secure a state‑issued mobile device.
