Description

The Domestic Violence Case Manager Supervisor provides leadership, oversight, and support to a team of case managers delivering comprehensive services to survivors of domestic violence. This role ensures high-quality, trauma-informed service delivery through staff supervision, program coordination, and compliance monitoring. The supervisor supports staff in conducting assessments, crisis intervention, safety planning, and ongoing case management, while ensuring survivors are effectively connected to internal and external resources to promote stability, safety, and well‑being.

The role also involves participating in community events, advocacy, and meetings to enhance programming, and assisting with training and capacity building. Additionally, the position collaborates on program development, manages ICDVP certification processes, and may involve evening or weekend work to provide after‑hours support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, onboard, supervise, and support case management staff, including conducting regular supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide guidance on client assessments, service planning, crisis intervention, and case management practices, including support for high‑risk or complex cases.
  • Monitor staff caseloads to ensure equitable distribution of work and timely, effective service delivery.
  • Review case documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational, legal, and funder requirements.
  • Ensure services are delivered using trauma‑informed, culturally responsive, and client‑centered approaches.
  • Oversee Rapid Rehousing (RRH) services, including ensuring timely housing placements, appropriate service planning, and compliance with program requirements and funding guidelines.
  • Support staff in coordinating housing resources, landlord engagement, and referrals to internal programs and external community resources to ensure continuity of care.
  • Provide guidance on housing stability planning, financial assistance coordination, and addressing barriers to housing for participants.
  • Maintain and update program policies, procedures, tools, and best practices in alignment with industry standards and organizational needs.
  • Lead team meetings, case conferences, and trainings to support staff development and continuous program improvement.
  • Ensure staff have access to and participate in ongoing training opportunities relevant to their roles.
  • Collaborate with the DV Program Director and leadership team to support program operations, address challenges, and implement solutions.
  • Utilize program data and trends to inform service delivery, program development, and reporting to leadership and funders.
  • Prepare and review reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the program in community events, outreach efforts, and partnerships to strengthen relationships and expand services.
  • Support program development, evaluation, and strategic initiatives in collaboration with leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to confidentiality, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
  • Provide backup support for intake, crisis intervention, and program needs as necessary.
  • May occasionally work evenings or weekends to support staff and program operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience required.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and written communication.
  • Demonstrate skills and abilities to advocate for and with survivors of diverse populations.
  • Ability to multi‑task in an environment where priorities can change rapidly.
  • Strong management, administrative and organizational skills.
  • Experience with oversight of grants and grant‑funded programming.
  • Knowledge of Gender‑Based violence and providing culturally relevant services preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
