Position Overview
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results‑oriented individual to serve as the Statewide Sexual Behavior Problems Specialty Administrator. The role will plan, develop, and evaluate programs for child victims of sexual abuse and the juvenile offender population, provide clinical oversight and expertise regarding sexual behavior problems in children and youth, and serve as the lead central office liaison for matters pertaining to residential resource development.
Qualified candidates will be licensed clinical social workers with experience in child protection and sexual behavior programming, and will possess excellent organizational skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to multi‑task.
Essential Functions- Serves as the Department’s Sexual Behavior Problems (SBP) Specialty Administrator.
- Serves as lead central office liaison for matters pertaining to residential resource development.
- Serves as full line supervisor.
- Develops and prepares periodic status reports on all unusual incident report activities related to children and youth with sexual behavior problems and child victims of sexual abuse target populations.
- Serves as the Department’s spokesperson on SBP related issues.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
