Supervisor Day - Living Room
The Mobile Crisis Supervisor is responsible for supervising the delivery of services in the Living Room Program in accordance with all program guidelines. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Managing the daytime Living Room system, including referral intake and/or client emergencies.
- Assisting with 24/7 on-call responsibilities to ensure staff members have access to leadership at all times.
- Reviewing client intake information and determining referral acceptance and case assignment.
- Overseeing case responsibilities and providing guidance in case planning.
- Providing weekly supervision to professional and para-professional staff on therapeutic approaches with clients and offering administrative case support.
- Reviewing all written documents created by staff.
- Reviewing funding source policies and procedures, updating procedures to meet state requirements, and training staff to implement them.
- Ensuring consistency in case files by reviewing that documentation is filed accordingly.
- Ensuring that staff handles unusual incidents promptly and effectively.
- Completing various outcome reports, as required.
- Participating in required meetings and trainings with the funding source.
- Providing staff with training, education, ongoing supervision, and support.
- Engaging staff in professional development.
- Monitoring program expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Ensuring adherence to contractual obligations with the funding source.
- Ensuring billing accuracy and timeliness; completing billing procedures for private contracts when necessary.
- Handling client, staff, caretaker, and/or collateral complaints and grievances.
- Conducting regular unit/team meetings with staff.
- Participating in various collateral and community groups to promote agency programs and presence, creating community linkages and opportunities.
- Participating in public speaking engagements to promote agency programs and services.
- Participating in agency management meetings and work groups.
- Assisting CQI in the development of agency documentation to enhance programming and to meet the requirements of the funding source policies and procedures.
- Working to ensure quality of service and the achievement of program outcome goals.
- Providing direct service to children and families in the absence of assigned staff.
- Managing case assignments to ensure an equal distribution of cases and to maintain the appropriate staff-to-client ratios as outlined by the funding source.
- Ensuring adequate client contact is maintained in accordance with specific program guidelines and the minimum required contact hours are achieved each month.
- Ensuring that staff at all levels closely monitor client safety and are appropriately responsive to any situation that poses a risk to or by a client.
- Completing and submitting performance appraisals in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a positive organizational culture.
- Overseeing interns.
- Performing duties independently.
- Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications- Education:
Master's in Human Services or related field - License preferred: LCPC, LCSW, LSOE, etc.
- Experience:
2 years related experience in leadership - Other:
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record with OHU-required levels of auto insurance coverage.
- Proficient computer skills in a Microsoft Suite environment and adaptive skills to expand software application skills as necessary.
- Highly organized, yet flexible, and can handle multiple priorities/projects well; ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a team environment.
- Ability to demonstrate project management, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Resourceful in researching issues and developing solutions with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills (verbal, written, active listening).
- Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships.
- Demonstrated problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to exercise discretion and ensure confidentiality.
