Onward Education is partnering with a school partner in DuPage County, Illinois to hire a School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an on-site, school-based opportunity supporting students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success through evaluation, consultation, and collaborative problem-solving.
In this role, you’ll support students by completing psycho educational evaluations, partnering with educators and families, contributing to IEP/504 processes, and helping implement effective, student-centered interventions. You’ll be a key thought partner to school teams as they build supportive learning environments.
- Location:
DuPage County, IL (on-site) - Schedule:
~37 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho educational evaluations (cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional as appropriate).
- Interpret results and clearly communicate findings to teams and families.
- Support IEP and 504 processes (including meetings, recommendations, and documentation).
- Provide consultation to teachers/teams on interventions, behavior support, and student needs.
- Support crisis response and student well-being initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote strong outcomes for students.
Qualifications:
- Illinois School Psychologist licensure and PEL (as applicable for school-based practice)
- Experience with school-based evaluations and collaborative team environments preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills
