Senior Platform Developer TED PE Position Overview

• Play a key role in the analysis, design, development and maintenance of mission critical enterprise Mainframe applications
• Work extensively with TELON COBOL, IMS DB, DC JCL, Micro Focus and EZTrieve technologies
• Ensure system reliability, data integrity and high performance across batch and online environments
• Support Third Party Electronic Databases and Provider Enrollment Systems
• Apply strong knowledge of data handling, data warehouses and interface file management using SQL and Informatica
• Operate effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced, compliance‑driven environment.

• Analyze, design, develop, test and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, TELON, IMS DB, DC JCL, Micro Focus and EZTrieve
• Develop and enhance batch and online processing programs for high volume transaction systems
• Perform impact analysis, debugging and performance tuning to ensure optimal system behavior
• Manage and optimize data files, transactions and system interfaces
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects and data teams to integrate Mainframe systems with Third Party Electronic Databases and Provider Enrollment platforms
• Develop and maintain SQL‑based interface files supporting ETL processes
• Contribute to data warehousing and Informatica integration initiatives for modernization and reporting
• Participate in code reviews, follow coding standards and maintain technical documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring minimal downtime
• Support migration, conversion and modernization initiatives as part of enterprise transformation efforts.

• Advanced expertise in TELON, COBOL, IMS DB, DC JCL, Micro Focus and EZTrieve
• Strong understanding of Mainframe data management, transaction processing and job control systems
• Working knowledge of Third Party Electronic Databases, Provider Enrollment Systems and government data platforms
• Experience with SQL interface development, Informatica ETL tools and data warehousing
• Ability to analyze complex data structures and design scalable, optimized workflows
• Strong communication, documentation and cross‑functional collaboration skills
• Excellent analytical, debugging and problem‑solving abilities.

• Eight plus years of hands‑on experience in Mainframe application development and maintenance
• Experience with enterprise data integration, legacy modernization or healthcare provider systems
• Familiarity with federal and state government project environments, compliance and audit standards
• Exposure to Agile or SAFe methodologies.
