The Lead Front-End Engineer is responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and component-driven frontend applications. This role provides technical leadership across the frontend ecosystem, ensures adherence to engineering standards, and partners with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions. The Lead will serve as a mentor, contribute to architectural decision‑making, and help advance the engineering culture within the organization.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient frontend applications using React, Type Script, and modern UI component patterns.
• Define and enforce frontend coding standards, architectural patterns, and best practices.
• Develop new features, enhancements, and UI improvements aligned with product requirements.
• Produce high-quality code and participate in solution design as a senior engineer.
• Create and maintain automated tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure code quality and maintainability.

• Architect frontend application structures to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, architects, and product teams to support system integration and design consistency.
• Evaluate emerging frontend technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Utilize React, JavaScript/Type Script, Redux/Context, Vite/Webpack, and modern build tooling.
• Integrate RESTful APIs into frontend applications.
• Work with AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, user experience, and reliability.
• Apply AI-augmented development, including AWS Bedrock and prompt engineering.

• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team environment.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
• Mentor and support the growth of engineering team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience building modern web applications.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with React and Type Script.
• Experience with Scrum or Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows.
• Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with AI prompt engineering and AWS Bedrock preferred.

The estimated base salary range is between $90,000 - $140,000 annually. Compensation decisions are influenced by factors including scope and responsibilities of the role, candidate’s experience, location, education, and market data.
