Location: Northwest Chicago Suburbs - onsite 1 day per week
Type: Direct Hire
The Salesforce Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting solutions across Salesforce CRM, Financial Services Cloud (FSC), nCino, and marketing‑related platforms. This individual will play a key role in system integrations, data migrations, application development, and ongoing platform optimization while partnering with business stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and business growth.
Responsibilities Salesforce Development & Engineering- Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions.
- Develop using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Design System, and Salesforce Flows.
- Support Salesforce CRM, Financial Services Cloud (FSC), and nCino platforms.
- Build proof of concepts, wireframes, and demonstrations for stakeholders.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment activities.
- Maintain integrations between Salesforce and marketing platforms such as Marketing Cloud and Hub Spot.
- Support core CRM object synchronization, Contact Builder, Data Extensions, and synchronized data sources.
- Participate in data migrations and third‑party system integrations.
- Develop and maintain API integrations using REST and SOAP services.
- Work with middleware and ETL tools such as Mule Soft.
- Partner closely with Salesforce Administrators, Business Analysts, Marketing teams, and end users.
- Gather business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Recommend process improvements and platform enhancements.
- Provide technical support, documentation, and user assistance.
- Support Salesforce deployment and release processes.
- Utilize CI/CD methodologies and Dev Ops best practices.
- Work with tools such as Git, Azure Dev Ops, and AutoRABIT.
- Support Agile development methodologies and ITIL processes.
- 2+ years of Salesforce/ development experience.
- Experience developing with:
Apex - Experience supporting integrations and data migrations.
- Experience creating Salesforce reports and dashboards.
- Strong understanding of Agile development practices.
