- Under minimal supervision, the Full Stack Developer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of Word Press themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.
- To ensure success as a Full Stack Word Press Developer, the Full Stack Developer requires in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, strong content management, as well as back-end development, such as API integrations and multi-site management skills.
- Develops, integrates, and delivers applications using front- end, back end, database and hosting tools. Deliver software products independently using functional specifications.
- Design and manage the website back-end including database and server integration using back-end tools (e.g., PHP).
- Facilitate meetings with clients to discuss website design and function. Ensure understanding of client requirements.
- Work on ongoing integration projects utilizing endpoint APIs to exchange information.
- Generate Word Press themes and plugins.
- Typically requires a degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Certification / Licensure - None required.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Word Press Developer using front and back-end technologies.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Bit Bucket, Source Tree.
- Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- Knowledge of technical and on-page SEO.
- Understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
