Overview:
Step into the world of baseball with the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes! We're seeking enthusiastic and driven college students to join our Spring 2026 "Rookie" Internship Program. As a proud member of the Prospect League, we offer our interns ("rookies") a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain real-world experience in the fast-paced environment of a summer collegiate baseball organization.

Whether you're interested in sports management, event planning, marketing, or community relations, this internship gives you hands-on experience that will prepare you for a future in the sports industry.

What You'll Do:
As a Rookie, your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with off-season team operations and planning

• Supporting community outreach initiatives and events

• Creating and scheduling engaging social media content

• Coordinating ticketing and group outing communications

• Participating in marketing and promotional efforts

• Helping with merchandise organization and fulfillment

• Collaborating on special projects with the front office team

• Attending team meetings and learning the inner workings of a sports franchise

Who We're Looking For:

• Students pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, or a related field

• Self-starters with strong organizational and communication skills

• Passionate individuals who love sports and are eager to learn

• Team players with a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed

• Available to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends for events
