Dispatcher - 3rd Shift - Springfield, IL

Martin Transportation Systems is seeking a highly qualified Dispatcher for our Springfield, IL terminal. The individual will dispatch and manage CDL-A drivers on dedicated “JIT”, round‑trip loads while safely meeting revenue and mileage goals for drivers and equipment. Candidates must possess excellent communication and computer skills (satellite tracking and TMW dispatch software), be multi‑task oriented, and enjoy a fast‑paced work environment.

• Oversee, coordinate, dispatch, and manage CDL‑A drivers to ensure timely pick‑up and delivery of all truckload shipments from vendors to auto assembly plants or other locations
• Assist with and enforce driver electronic log compliance with HOS regulations and company policy
• Interface with other central dispatch staff, customer service, and customers
• Promote driver safety and safe workplace performance
• Interface and update computer trucking systems
• Evaluate driver performance and compliance

• Work 3rd shifts (Sunday night – Friday morning)
• Strong communication, computer, and multi‑tasking skills
• Previous dispatching experience in the transportation industry a plus
• Experience with TMW and Samsara a plus
