Regional Midwest CDL Class A Driver | Home Every Other Day

Our AFP is expanding its team and seeking full-time motivated CDL drivers for its operations at Romeoville and Joliet, IL. We are a small local business with a supportive and respectful culture and the benefits of a large company. We operate semis on dedicated routes between distribution centers, within a 1,000 mile per round-trip, for a national customer. We offer state-of-the-art equipment and technology, most likely on Evening and Overnight Shifts, newer trucks, home every other day, and primarily drop and hook freight.

  Earning $60,000 to $75,000+ per year with predictable, guaranteed weekly hours performing 40-45 hours per week.

• Earn More
  : US $24 to US $28 per hour + time-and-a-half overtime after 40 hours – paid out every Friday.

• Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean driving record and successful completion of DOT physical, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• No history of CDL suspension, revocation, or failed/refused drug or alcohol tests in the last 5 years (this includes DWI/DUI and BAC).
• Match Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements imposed by the DOT and have a positive Drive-A-Check (DAC) Report.
• Be able to learn and effectively use GPS, handheld technology, and smartphone applications.
• Fluent in English for written and spoken effective communication.
• Flexibility with work schedule (Day/Evening/Night shifts/Weekends).

• Operate semi trucks on regional, dedicated routes (within ~1,000 miles round-trip) for a national customer.
• Drive primarily on Evening and Overnight shifts; operate newer equipment with modern technology.
• Perform drop-and-hook and 100% no-touch freight where applicable.
• Maintain safe driving practices and adhere to DOT regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with dispatch for predictable routes and schedules.
• Represent the company professionally and contribute to a team-focused work environment.
