Warehouse Stand up Reach Operator

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Stand‑up Reach Operator in Dekalb, Illinois. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career with a supportive team.

Pay: $20.30 per hour.

Schedule: Three‑and‑a‑half day workweek:
Sunday – Tuesday 5:15 am to 4:45 pm and Wednesday 5:15 am to 11:15 am.

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
• Operate forklifts and cycle count inventory
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, stage products and load/unload trucks
• Manage day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator’s license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Team‑player who can work in a diverse environment
• Professional relationship building with peers, supervisors, and customers
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and good attendance record
• Initiative and flexibility for varying work shifts
• Accurate under pressure and detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up
• Physical ability to lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
• Commitment to health and safety methods
