Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Rockland, MA

Compensation: $70000 - $75000 / Year

Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision coverage. 401k eligibility.

We are looking to add an Accounting Clerk to our team to support core accounting functions and ongoing operational needs. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting close and reporting processes, and partnering cross-functionally across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and management-level deliverables
  • Own and administer biweekly payroll and benefits processes (ADP Run)
  • Support Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing and vendor management
  • Help design, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal controls, and accounting policies
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Support audit, review, and select tax-related processes
  • Assist with treasury functions, including banking activities and cash management
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to support growth initiatives
  • Support evaluation, implementation, and optimization of accounting and payroll systems (e.g., Quick Books Enterprise, Sage, Great Plains)
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and cost savings
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
