Payroll Clerk
Location:
Cambridge, MA

Hours:
- Full time hours
- Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Job Duties:
- Process payroll for employees using accounting software
- Enter data into the payroll system, including hours worked, deductions, and bonuses
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
- Assist with the preparation of journal entries related to payroll transactions
- Maintain accurate records of employee information, including tax withholding forms and direct deposit details
- Stay up-to-date with changes in governmental accounting regulations and ensure compliance
- Assist with general ledger reconciliation related to payroll accounts
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries
Pay Rate:
- $30-32/ hour
