Job Summary
The Accountant/Project Coordinator is responsible for providing timely and accurate financial reporting, analysis, and assistance to the Project teams and company stakeholders.

Project Financial Management
- Acquires project budget from Project team and enters data into appropriate systems.
- Drafts, processes, and distributes owner applications for payment and letters invoices as directed by Project Manager.
- Compiles all required payment backup including subcontractor billings, cost reports or lien waivers.
- Collects and processes subcontractor applications for payment and works with Compliance to ensure that all backup documentation is provided.
- Reviews and validates subcontractor applications for payment with project team and aids in correcting errors and omissions.
Project Mobilization, Maintenance, Demobilization
- Coordinate with field staff and project team to ensure that all necessary items are in place to operate a successful project site.
- Coordinates and validates final billings from service providers and vendors.
- Sets up and maintains key project information in project programs and reviews accounts for discrepancies and reconciles differences.
Subcontractor Risk Management
- Works with project team to understand the needs that are specific to the project/client. This includes type of contract, documentation specific to client (lien releases, back up documentation, etc.) and project specific requirements (LEEDS, minority reporting, certified payroll, etc.)
- Works with Compliance to collect and process all lien waivers, and provide assistant for same, to subcontractors with lower tier subcontractors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems.
- Team player with great interpersonal skills.
- Bachelors degree in accounting or a similar field is required.
- 3-5 years of Project Accounting experience, or similar
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in accounting
- Proficiency in software tools:
Procore, Sage 300
CRE, HH2

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
