Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• Lead reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, ensuring accurate and timely month-end close
• Staff Accountant will prepare, review, and create journal entries for accurate reflection of organizational financial activity
• Staff Accountant will produce and interpret financial statements, including balance sheet and P&L, to inform internal decision making
• Support ongoing improvement and documentation of accounting processes during department restructuring

Must-Have Skills and Experience of the Staff Accountant:

• Minimum three years of accounting experience is highly preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in journal entries, debits/credits, and account reconciliation
• Experience in accounts payable processing within a complex department
