Our growing manufacturing organization is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This Staff Accountant role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic production environment where accounting directly impacts operational decision-making. The ideal Staff Accountant will thrive in a fast-paced setting and enjoy both traditional accounting responsibilities and hands-on collaboration with operations.

Position Overview
The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting functions, assist with month-end close, and help maintain accurate financial records. This Staff Accountant will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial integrity and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist with month-end and year-end close
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Support inventory accounting and cost tracking within a manufacturing environment
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve operational efficiency
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to understand cost drivers
• Assist with audits and support documentation requests
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-3+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience a plus)
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
