Accounts Payable Specialist

We are also proud to be a Certified Great Place to Work. We are looking for an accounts payable specialist to join our growing team in our Springfield, MA location. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the timely processing and payment of vendor invoices, credit card statements, and employee expense reimbursements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in reconciling vendor statements.
• Reviews and codes all invoices in accounting system for approval prior to payment.
• Responds to all vendor inquiries.
• Assists in month-end closing.
• Processes check requests on a weekly basis
• Enters employee expense reimbursements into the accounting system for payment.
• Reviews A/P aging report and communicates aged payables and issues with invoices and/or vendor payments.

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Some prior accounts payable experience (preferred)
• Intermediate in MS Excel and Microsoft Outlook (required)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
