We are partnering with a highly respected and growing CPA firm in the Greater Springfield area that is looking to add multiple tax professionals to its team. Current openings include:

Staff Accountant (Tax Focus) - 2-5 years experience

Tax Supervisor - 5+ years experience

Staff Accountant (Tax Focus)

Responsibilities include:

- Preparation of business and individual tax returns

- Review of financial records and supporting documentation

- Client communication and information gathering

- Tax research and problem solving

- Preparation of work papers and supporting schedules

- Exposure to a variety of industries and client types

Tax Supervisor

Responsibilities include:

- Preparation and review of federal and state business and individual tax returns

- Tax planning and consulting

- Managing client relationships

- Reviewing and mentoring staff work

- Researching tax issues and communicating changes in tax law

- Managing IRS and state tax notices and audits

- Process improvement initiatives within the tax function

Ideal background:

- 2-10+ years of public accounting tax experience

- Experience preparing and reviewing business and individual returns

- Tax planning and research experience

- Strong client-facing skills

- CPA preferred
