Controller, Accounting, Financial Compliance

Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 + Bonus

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to lead the accounting and financial operations.

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys partnering with operations, driving business performance, and influencing key financial decisions.

• Strong, tenured accounting and finance team already in place
• Two direct reports, including an experienced Accounting Manager with deep institutional knowledge
• High-visibility leadership role with the ability to influence strategic business decisions
• Serve as the primary financial leader for the location, operating as the site's CFO
• Opportunity to partner closely with operations and executive leadership
• Stable organization with multiple locations nationwide and a strong reputation in the industry

• Lead all accounting and financial activities for the site, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Provide financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic recommendations to leadership
• Partner with operations leaders to drive profitability, productivity, and cost management initiatives
• Oversee month-end close, financial statements, account reconciliations, and internal controls
• Manage and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment
• Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Analyze business performance and identify opportunities for operational and financial improvements
• Serve as a key liaison between site leadership and corporate finance teams

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
• Progressive accounting and finance leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
