DUTIES- Maintain a Daily Teacher Attendance Log and records of staff time and substitute teacher records in collaboration with the Assistant Principal.
- Maintain Power School technology with updated pupil information.
- Maintain updated records on the School staff.
- Perform word processing, typing and proofing of letters, documents and memoranda that may be difficult to produce from clear copy, rough draft, recording machines or personally developed data.
- Prepare the School’s TLM Payroll and supplemental pay and submit them to the Payroll Department at the Central Office in a timely manner.
- Prepare MUNIS requisitions and maintain purchase orders.
- Welcome visitors, respond to inquiries and direct them to the appropriate person.
- Operate fax and copying machines to duplicate various forms, bulletins and notices.
- Organize and maintain office files.
- Answer the telephone, take messages and forward them to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide support to the Principal, Assistant Principal and other main office staff.
- Perform any other tasks as directed by the Principal and Assistant Principals.
- Civil Service Eligibility.
- High School graduate.
- Ability to type, word process and proofread letters and documents with above‑average difficulty.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work on a schedule that coincides with the hours of the School.
- Resident of Springfield.
