RECEPTION
Serves as the primary point of contact for the Admissions Office, overseeing all front‑line customer service operations by managing in‑person visitors, phone and email communications, and prospective student engagement; coordinates interview scheduling, directs inquiries to appropriate resources, maintains a comprehensive knowledge base of campus contacts, and upholds exceptional service standards while supporting and guiding staff to ensure a consistent, high‑quality experience for all constituents.
CAMPUSVISITS & EVENTS
Provides administrative support for the coordination and execution of virtual and on‑campus visit experiences by managing scheduling, communications, and logistical details for information sessions, tours, interviews, and events; processes reservations, invitations, and confirmations; assists with system set‑up (e.g., Zoom and Slate) and data tracking; and supports daily visit operations by maintaining schedules, updating student ambassador rosters, and communicating visitor needs to staff.
OPERATIONALSUPPORT
Perform daily office operations for Graduate Admissions including, but not limited to: processing of application materials in Slate, use of Google Drive for credential management, maintaining and updating files, records, and other documents, and supporting the Graduate Scholarship application process.
ADMINISTRATIVEBuild and send confirmation letters and emails weekly to prospective students and their families who will be visiting the campus. Complete confirmation appointment phone calls day prior to meetings to all necessary parties. Follow‑up daily phone calls to guest “no‑shows” to assist in rescheduling their visit. Manage text‑message responses through Slate by Technolutions. Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the Admissions office and Welcome Center on a daily basis.
Coordinate the effective flow of all activities that occur within the Welcome Center, ensuring punctual presentation times and tour departures and appropriate guidance for guests who need directions to various places on and off campus. Communicate the daily visit schedule to involved campus partners. Make and confirm reservations for other on‑campus departments that utilize the presentation room and conference room.
Provide technical support to these departments as needed.
High School diploma or GED required

Associate’s degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of work‑related experience required

- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and trouble‑shooting abilities.
- Ability to supervise student staff in a highly professional and productive manner.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and make arrangements for late guest requests.
- Ability to communicate effectively across departments/offices campus‑wide.
- Able to ensure that the office is well‑run, with efficient handling of all task to facilitate the attainment of enrollment goals.
- Basic level of proficiency with Microsoft Office PowerPoint.
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, GMail, Google Suite.
- Basic level of proficiency with Department Databases such as Slate.
