Advancement Operations Administrator
Reporting to the Director of Advancement Operations, the Advancement Operations Administrator is a key member of the Advancement team, supporting the department's efforts. They play a crucial role in securing resources in support of the college's mission and programs by working with the Advancement Office team on fundraising strategies, annual giving, alumni engagement, data entry and integrity, donor and gift stewardship, and other administrative duties.
The Advancement Operations Administrator also assists the Assistant Vice President in supporting and coordinating activities for the STCC Foundation's Board of Directors and its committees.
In addition, the Advancement Operations Administrator helps update the donor database, including batch gift entry and preparing acknowledgment letters and fund stewardship reports. Working with the Director of Advancement Operations, the Advancement Operations Administrator supports the operations and financial administration for both the Office of Advancement and the STCC Foundation, including support of the accounts payable process and audit preparation.
The Advancement Operations Administrator must be organized, efficient, and able to discern work priorities and meet deadlines. In addition, they must have the ability to thrive in an environment that requires significant self-initiative, the management of multiple projects at once, and collaboration among team members, both internal and external to Springfield Technical Community College.

Bachelor degree required;
Three (3) years of related experience preferred including experience working in a higher education setting, or with fundraising and alumni relations;
Experience with foundation and business operations preferred;
Knowledge of gift processing procedures preferred; knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser's Edge/NXT/Award Spring a plus;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community Proven sensitivity with confidential information, as well as the ability to take initiative and to use critical thinking skills Demonstrated professionalism in working with boards, leadership volunteers, and donors.
Salary: $78,000 - $80,000 annually.
