The Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Central/West Region, is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and customer-focused Office Support Specialist I to join our Intake and Eligibility Department. This position will provide essential administrative and front-end support to ensure the timely and efficient processing of intake applications and assist individuals and families seeking information about DDS eligibility services.

The Office Support Specialist will work closely with Eligibility Coordinators and other members of the Intake and Eligibility team to support day-to-day office operations.

Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):

* Receiving and processing incoming mail and documents from front desk staff.

* Scanning and electronically filing materials.

* Entering information into appropriate systems.

* Assisting with administrative tasks associated with intake applications and the eligibility process.

* Monitoring the designated intake and eligibility hotline and responding to individuals and families who call with questions or requests for updates regarding the status of their application.

* Provide courteous and professional customer service, gather necessary information, and ensure inquiries are appropriately directed or followed up on.

Additional responsibilities may include:

* Providing administrative support to the Office Support Specialist II.

* Assisting with document management and data entry.

* Maintaining organized records.

* Performing other related duties and special assignments as needed to support the operations of the Intake and Eligibility Department.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a busy office environment are essential.

Schedule:

9:00am - 5:00pm

Days Off:
Sunday/Saturday
