National Ambulance is looking for a self-motivated and dedicated, experienced Automotive Shop Foreman to join our team Full-Time. Position requires a wide variety of technical skills. These skills include performing diagnostic & repair work on light to medium duty fleet vehicles, training and supervision of technicians. Successful candidate should be able to work productively with no supervision.

- Support the Service Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Assist in managing and coordinating the service team of technicians.
- Assist in service advising and service writing.
- Ensure a positive work environment and maximum productivity.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and effectively communicating with customers regarding their service needs.
- Collaborate with service manager to develop and implement training programs for service staff to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and enforce established departmental policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure compliance and a safe work environment.
- Assist with resolving escalated customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Perform regular quality control inspections to ensure adherence to established service standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Assist in managing the service department's budget, including monitoring expenses, analyzing financial reports, and recommending cost-saving measures.
- Mentor service technicians and conduct diagnostic work.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of service records and other administrative tasks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and manufacturer-specific service procedures to provide expert advice and recommendation to customers and staff.
- Troubleshooting fuel, ignition, and emissions control systems, using electronic testing equipment.
- Testing electronic computer components in automobiles to ensure proper operation.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Valid Driver's License
- Automotive Repair Experience
- Familiarity with manufacturer-specific service procedures and diagnostic tools
- Proficient in P.C. skill, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to navigate service management software.
- Solid understanding of automotive service operations, including repair and maintenance processes, scheduling and billing procedures (preferred)
