Divisional Reinsurance Executive - East

Zurich North America is seeking a Divisional Reinsurance Executive (DRE) who will report to the East Division Vice President for Zurich Direct Markets and manage and grow a substantial book of business.

In this role the DRE will work closely with the field force of Regional F&I Managers and Finance & Insurance Executives to execute the proven sales and service strategy initiatives of Direct Markets for the East Division.

The DRE will bring a high level of expertise to successfully drive new business, maintain high‑profile relationships, and develop strategic relationships outside of the Zurich organization. They will help implement strategic and tactical objectives that align with Zurich’s overall sales strategy, analyze data, and provide strategic direction to field sales professionals to advance Zurich’s position in the marketplace.

Additional responsibilities include representing the Zurich team in leadership and industry meetings, overseeing cross‑team sales initiatives, managing customer issues, and contributing to planning, budgeting, coaching, and influencing leadership within the Division.

NOTE:

This position is virtual and can be located anywhere in the East Division. The candidate should have access to a large airport for efficient travel purposes.

• Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of related experience with a focus on Sales, F&I, Reinsurance, Operations or Accounting
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of related experience with a focus on Sales, F&I, Reinsurance, Operations or Accounting
• Experience managing product knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment within area of responsibility
• Experience with proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools
• Experience analyzing financial results

• Recent demonstrated and documented success in New Business Acquisition and consistent goal achievement
• Experience in the financial services sector or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
• Thorough understanding of the principles of Captives insurance (AIC or CPCU preferred)
• Knowledge of company‑approved software, business system and reporting applications
• Leadership experience in managing teams or cross‑functional projects
• Broad knowledge of automotive segment customers’ business and operations with the ability to forge and build relationships therein

Base salary range: $74,300 – $121,700 with a variable compensation component based on performance. Bonus and merit increases are also available. Pay varies by location and role.
