Job SummaryThe Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for developing new business and acquiring new accounts through researching prospects and building relationships with key decision-makers.
Responsibilities- The Business Development Manager sells, researches and develops new account opportunities by understanding the current needs of the local market, including future projects and growth projections, and by utilizing tactical selling techniques.
- Establishes relationships with new account prospects to secure their business and achieve and exceed key performance metrics.
- Maintain client relationships and identify growth opportunities within current clients by thoroughly understanding business needs through proactive communication.
- Lead and collaborate with recruiters on recruiting techniques, key performance metrics, and tactics to fulfill client requisitions; serve as the point of contact for recruiters regarding client needs.
- Document all sales activity in the CRM.
- Strong understanding of the local/regional business environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral and written)
- Excellent tactical skills, cold-calling capabilities, and strong sales acumen
- Strong relationship-building skills with key decision-makers and C-level executives
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Share Point
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience - Length of
Experience:
6+ years of experience with a proven sales track record
- Visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, transcribe documents, view a computer, read, inspect objects, and operate machinery
- Repetitive motions of parts of the body
- Manual dexterity (e.g., typing, or other tasks using fingers)
- Hearing and speaking abilities
- Capacity to think, concentrate, and focus over long periods
- Ability to read and write complex English documents
- Ability to reason and make sound decisions
- Expertise in Microsoft Office
In compliance with state pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $78,000.00 - $. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; final offer amount may vary based on factors including experience and geographic location. Programs and options available may vary by date of hire, schedule type, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
