Senior Construction Estimator

Office: Burnt Hills NY or Springfield MA

Job Type: Full-Time (Exempt)

Salary: $110,000 - $175,000

Schedule: Monday‑Friday

• Prepare accurate cost estimates from construction drawings and specifications
• Perform quantity take‑offs, cost analysis, and estimate development
• Assemble and submit bids (GMP, Cost Plus, etc.)
• Communicate scopes, bids, and project details to clients and teams
• Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and consultants
• Analyze and level subcontractor proposals against scope requirements
• Identify value engineering opportunities to reduce costs
• Ensure complete scope coverage and eliminate gaps/overlaps
• Support post‑bid activities and finalize subcontract scopes

• Bachelor's degree + 2+ years' estimating experience (or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of construction documents and project scopes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks
• Physical ability to perform job duties (including occasional lifting up to 25 lbs)
• Must have federal contract experience
