Why This Role Stands Out
This is a chance to work on the most sought-after architectural metal projects in the state, influence bids from day one, and be part of a team that values quality, collaboration, and smart preconstruction.
We’re working with a state-leading architectural and ornamental metal contractor that is consistently awarded the region’s most design-driven and complex metalwork. This Estimator role offers unrivalled access to premium projects and the opportunity to influence outcomes from the very start of the build.
This is a position for someone who wants more than takeoffs — it’s about shaping bids, partnering with architects and GCs early, and playing a key role in winning the most visible architectural metal projects in the state.
The Opportunity
- Price and shape high-profile architectural and ornamental metal packages
- Influence constructability, detailing approach, and scope definition early
- Work on landmark commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, and civic projects
- Collaborate closely with project management, detailing, and fabrication teams
- Be part of a trusted preconstruction group with real impact on company growth
The Work Environment
- Design-forward, collaborative culture with strong respect for craftsmanship
- Direct access to leadership and decision-makers
- Early involvement in pursuit strategy, not just final pricing
- Clear communication, minimal bureaucracy, and high accountability
- Support from experienced shop, detailing, and installation teams
What You’ll Be Estimating
- Custom architectural and ornamental metal scopes
- Decorative steel, aluminum, stainless, and specialty alloys
- Complex assemblies, non-standard details, and tight tolerances
- Projects where accuracy, creativity, and judgment matter as much as speed
What We’re Looking For
- Estimating experience in architectural metals, ornamental metals, or custom fabrication
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes and installation methods
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and design intent
- Confident communicator with architects, GCs, and internal teams
- Interest in long-term growth with a market-leading contractor
If you’re an Estimator who wants better projects, greater influence, and long-term opportunity, this role offers a platform few companies can match.
